Man gets DUI when he arrives at Police Station to pick up friend who was arrested for DUI.

I read this story out of Mundelein, Illinois. You can't make this stuff up...

"Terrence O’Brien, 52, of McHenry, has been charged with DUI after he was arrested at 2:11 a.m. on Aug. 17 at the station, 221 N. Lake St., according to police.

O’Brien appeared to be intoxicated, said police, who arrested him after he allegedly said he drove to the station, according to a news release.

O’Brien went to the station to pick up his friend, Jacqueline Kaplan, 34, of Wadsworth, who had been arrested earlier for DUI, according to Sgt. Cameron Eugenis and Deputy Chief John Monahan.

“The lesson, I guess, is don’t come to the police department drunk to pick up your buddy — don’t drive, at least,” Eugenis said."
