Weekend DUI Checkpoint Update: 7/27 - 7/29
Here is what we have seen reported so far for this weekend:
1. Kansas City Missouri Police Department also said they will have a DUI sobriety checkpoint sometime this weekend, they did not nor do they ever give a time and or place. A couple of weeks ago they set up at 39th and Southwest Trafficway.
Police typically place signs in advance of the checkpoint notifying people that they will be directed to an area where an officer can determine whether the driver is impaired and or should do field sobriety tests, and potentially submit to a breath test to attempt to calculate your B.A.C.
As always be safe and have fun, always cheaper and safer to take a taxi, the dui penalties aren't worth risking it. We will update you as we learn more.
