Weekend DUI Checkpoint Update: 9/28 - 9/30
It looks like it's going to be a quiet weekend around the metro area, which will be a nice change of pace, considering lately there have been checkpoints about every weekend. Here's what we have heard so far:
1. The Johnson County Sheriff's Dept. has reported that they will not be conducting any DUI checkpoints this weekend, but they will be operating DUI Saturation Patrols. This means there will be extra officers out on the roads looking specifically for signs of impaired driving.
